The UK’s manufacturing output has grown at its fastest rate since early 2008, 10 years ago.

This follows the news that November 2017 was the industry’s best quarter for three and a half years, and the seventh consecutive month of expansion.

Sectors such as renewable energy projects, boats, aeroplanes, and cars for exports aided the UK’s output, making it 3.9% higher in the third quarter of 2017 than 2016.
