A new survey from leading market analysts Plimsoll Publishing Ltd has revealed 70 percent of UK business leaders would like Britain to remain in the European Union.

The research, which canvassed the opinion of business leaders from a variety of UK industries, suggests only 28 percent of company bosses would like the UK to leave whereas 2% percent have yet to make up their minds.

Of the 803 votes received, 562 voted to stay, 227 said leave, and 14 were yet to decide.

David Pattison, Plimsoll’s Senior Analyst, said: “The results seem to show clearly that the majority of UK business leaders would like to remain in the European Union. Our UK customers are all significant employers and they contribute heavily to the British economy so they are well suited in weighing up the advantages and disadvantages of staying in the EU.”

The poll details the results by sector and it seems bosses in the Health & Education Sector are more inclined to stay in the EU compared to their counterparts in the Transport trade.
