The global professional services company, Accenture, and the enterprise application software firm, SAP, are to partner.

The two firms will co-innovate, co-develop, and jointly bring to market extended planning solution for the manufacturing industry, on the business suite for SAP S/4HANA®.

The two firms will expand SAP S/4HANA®’s capabilities, which in turn will aid companies enhance return on investment.

This will be made possible through more responsive, real-time digital supply chains.

“Because today’s consumers expect short lead times and higher flexibility when ordering products, it’s time for product companies to change the status quo,” said Eric Schaeffer, Senior Managing Director and Head of Industrial Practice at Accenture.

The sollutions will augments Demand Driven MRP planning capabilities to provide time-efficient MRP simulations for analysis and forecasting purposes.
